Multiple Desktops & Task View

This is a new feature in Windows 10

Windows 10 allows you to view all your open windows in a more easily manageable view called Task View, as well as open multiple desktops at a time to manage your space.

Using Task View

1.  On the Taskbar, click on Task View.  Alternatively, you can press the Windows Key + TAB to enter Task View.

2.  All of your currently open windows will become organized across your screen.

3.  When you hover over an individual window, you can either click on it to open it up like usual, or you can hit the red X that appears next to it to close it.

Multiple Desktops

You can create a second desktop to help organize your space better.  While in another desktop, everything from your other desktops remains open and running.

1.  Enter Task View, as described in the steps above.

2.  Click on New Desktop.

3.  At the bottom-centre of your screen, click on the new desktop you created to switch to it.

4.  Follow the same steps to switch back to your original desktop.
